Objective
To position the Season of Wulfa Eid in Dubai Shop, Scan & Win campaign as a festive citywide retail activation that combined rewarding shopping experiences with the spirit of Eid. The brief called for more than a promotional mechanic: the campaign needed to reflect togetherness, generosity, and celebration while driving participation across multiple malls and community destinations in Dubai.
Strategy
Festive positioning: Developed the campaign narrative around Eid as a season of shared moments, generosity, and celebration, ensuring the promotion felt culturally relevant rather than purely transactional.
Citywide activation framing: Positioned the initiative as a broad retail experience spanning 13 participating malls and community centres, highlighting accessibility and convenience for residents and visitors across Dubai.
Clear participation mechanic: Supported the campaign with simple, digital-first messaging that made the entry process easy to understand. Shoppers spent AED 200 or more, scanned the in-store QR code, and uploaded their receipt to enter the raffle draw.
Integrated communications support: Drafted and circulated the official press release, aligned messaging across campaign materials, and ensured the communication consistently reinforced both the festive rewards angle and the wider retail experience.
Organising partner visibility: Positioned BUZ Management & Marketing Consulting LLC clearly as the official organising partner, while also reinforcing the role of RaffleTech in delivering a seamless customer engagement and rewards journey.
Results & Impact
The campaign created strong visibility for the Season of Wulfa retail initiative, giving Eid shoppers across Dubai an additional reason to engage with participating malls and community destinations.
The prize structure of AED 200,000 in Eidiya for 25 winners added a compelling incentive layer, helping transform everyday shopping into a festive, high-interest campaign mechanic.
Coverage and campaign messaging reinforced the spirit of Eid, balancing celebration and generosity with practical participation, which helped the activation feel both accessible and culturally resonant.
By spanning 13 locations across Dubai, the campaign supported wider footfall and shopper engagement during the Eid period, extending the festive retail atmosphere beyond a single destination.
